Below is a suggested of things you should bring with you on your visit:

Note: although there are very limited stores/shops within short walking distance of Finca Rio Perla, most basic items are available in nearby Alegria or Siquirres. 
   
Laundry: there are public areas for hand washing and sun-drying of clothes.
==> Finca Rio Perla has some laundry machines and can provide paid laundry service when our machines and staff are available.  There is no public access to our laundry machines.  The charge is $US 4 (or 2,000 colones) per load (wash, dry, fold).  When available, we can provide an iron for self-ironing of clothes. 

  List of things you really should bring

• Rubber boots and socks
• Hiking boots and socks
• Water-proof sandals with strap (so you can walk in water)
  
• Rain coats with hoods
• Hat and sunglasses
  
• Long-sleeved cotton pants and shirts (for horseback riding and evenings)
• T-shirts and shorts
  
• Bathing suit
• Flashlight and batteries
• Soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
• Basic first-aid and medical supplies
  
• Sunscreen, suntan lotion
• Bug repellent and anti-itch ointments/creams
• Plastic bags/containers - to keep things dry and clean, and bug-free
• Towels (beach towel for use outside the house)
• All-purpose work gloves.

==> NOTE: please bring dietary items and/or supplements, snack foods, and special beverages that you want to have.
==> Please bring natural and biodigradable products if possible.
