As the east and west coasts of the USA were hit by "one-in-hundred-year" earthquakes and the east coast prepares for the impending Hurricane Irene, and other bizarre manifestations of nature, we are trying at Finca Rio Perla to recover from a HUGE storm earlier in the week that knocked out phones, tvs, computers, and other appliances in La Perla and neighboring villages.
I think back to a song from the group Spirit that was released in 1968: "It's Nature's Way of Telling You".

Unfortunately, singing along with the lyrics of the 1968 song, it is not difficult to see that 40+ years later and many billions of people later and much, much pollution and wars later ... that there really is SOMETHING'S WRONG ...
